Our family has attended a total of 5 preschools because of the age of our children and because of moves we've made from Washington to Idaho to Oregon. Your preschool has been the best. There have been many strengths in all the preschools we've enrolled in, some much more expensive and newer, but yours stands out.
First, it's clear that your calm, caring nature gets the children to trust you right away. Second, the things you are discussing and learning are concrete and child-centered. The basic curiosity that all kids have is what you're discussing and I love and appreciate that. As a former teacher and now parent, I feel strongly that there shouldn't be such a rush in these preschool years. When a child has a teacher that he or she can count on, they learn amazing things and in turn love to learn. It's a simple formula that one would think would be more prevalent. I hadn't real compared the preschools until now, but I've had such a good warm impression since the beginning of the school year that it got me thinking why this class is unique.
