At the mandatory closing of our preschool the staff and I are "working from home", posting activities online to keep parents encouraged and involved as the school year is winding down. For years I attended Early Childhood Workshops with Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children; the National Association for the Education of Young Children; AND....through these..met and LEARNED from BEV BOS "Current, Best Strategies for Creating an Outstanding PRESCHOOL Program. I have a shelf full of ideas, research, copies of articles and studies by experts in the field...on how best the young child learns.
My creative juices are activated! I'm sharing here for parents who wonder about what's the best for their child...who want to take the time to read..listen..to .participate in their child's best interests. The information I'm sharing comes from Bev Bos' Resource Handbooks written by Bev and Michael Leeman, that we received at her conferences. I credit all authors and contributors and thank them for all they have done to teach us what is good for young children and how to implement into our Wee Wisdom Preschool..
